Economics Was There! Discovering Economics in Alabama and American History

Economic forces are woven throughout the history students already study. Grades 3–5 teachers will explore connections involving Indigenous economies, exploration, the American Revolution, westward expansion, technological change, the Civil War, and twentieth-century events while discovering engaging ways to integrate economics into existing history instruction.
Participants receive 1 hour CEU certificate and curriculum resources.
