Alabama teachers of Career Prep A and B classes are invited to participate in active learning lessons designed to engage students while increasing their knowledge. Discover a wealth of free, standards-based curricula, online resources, and lesson plans correlated to Alabama Course Standards Syllabus (Career Prep).

Alabama Teachers Receive a $50.00 Stipend


 
In this interactive workshop, educators will gain resources and strategies
to meet Alabama's elementary economics and financial literacy standards.
In addition to hands-on lessons, all teachers will receive
five children's books for their classroom as well as the
Teaching Economics Using Children's Literature publication. The classroom sets for each teacher will include two books highlighting Alabama inventors, Woosh! and The Secret Garden of George Washington Carver. .
