Teaching Economics Through COVID-19
Presenter
Loren Springer, Bob Jones High School, Madison City Schools
The 2020 Whit King Jr., Excellence in the Teaching of Economics Winner

This workshop introduces an assignment matrix in the form of COVID Bingo as a one stop shop for relevant learning in economics through policies and issues related to the pandemic such as production possibilities curve, supply and demand, monetary and fiscal policy, Defense Production Act, economic measurements, and more. COVID Bingo was originally developed in March 2020 as an asynchronous way to teach economics through the pandemic, but is updated for 2021 and adaptable for traditional or non-traditional classroom use. The webinar will review instructional and grading strategies through the COVID Bingo assignment matrix.

All participants receive a one hour CEU certificate.
