Economic Freedom and the Civil Rights Movement (Grades 4 - 8)

This virtual session focuses on the economics behind the Civil Rights movement during the 1950s and 1960s, particularly the Ten Demands of the March on Washington in 1963. The picture book, Freedom Summer, will be featured along with lessons demonstrations during this professional learning experience.
Alabama teachers will receive the book Freedom Summer, a one hour CEU certificate, and a $10 Amazon ecard.
