Teachers will hear from speakers representing top Alabama industries about career opportunities and skills needed by students to be adequately prepared for the demands of the work place.

Lessons are correlated to Alabama Social Studies Course of Study, Career Preparedness Course of Study, and Alabama College and Career Ready Standards. Each teacher receives a Virtual Economic 4.5 flash drive containing 50 videos and over 70 publications from the national Council for Economic Education ($159 value).  There is no registration fee, instructional materials are provided, $75 substitute reimbursement is available during the school year, and lunch is included. Workshops will be offered at eleven locations around the state.
