​This workshop will provide instructional materials and expert content knowledge on the subjects of economics in the music industry, personal finance, and workplace performance.
Former high school economics educator, and John Morton Excellence in the Teaching of Economics Award Winner (2020), Joel Miller and Professor Art Carden (Samford University) will provide a full day interactive workshop for educators. Topics will extend to multiple social studies content areas (primarily Career Preparedness & Economics). Participating teachers will experience new instructional strategies and receive classroom-ready lesson resources and will learn more about The Foundation for Economic Education’s no-cost student programs and online teacher resources.
