NextGen Personal Finance & Stock Market Game
Sponsored by Rotary Club Alabama
This workshop is provided through the support of

The Malone Family Foundation & The Council for Economic Education

This workshop includes training in how to use the Next Gen Personal Finance website. NGPF is a free personal finance curriculum that helps deliver essential money understanding in an easy-to-grasp, engaging way that is designed to spark student participation through projects, case studies, simulations and interactive library. This training is made available to teachers through the generous support of NextGen Personal Finance.
This Stock Market Game workshop also helps teachers implement a problem-based learning and real-world teaching tool that also facilitates implementation of STEM guidelines in math and technology. Students make decisions as they work in teams to create and manage an online $100,000 portfolio of stocks and mutual funds.  Students engage in high levels of math, reading, writing, technology, critical thinking and problem solving skills. NAEP study documents that students who use Stock Market Game have higher reading and math test scores.

$50 Substitute reimbursement is available. Lunch provided at no charge.
