This Stock Market Game workshop helps teachers implement a problem-based learning and real-world teaching tool that also facilitates implementation of STEM guidelines in math and technology. Students make decisions as they work in teams to create and manage an online $100,000 portfolio of stocks and mutual funds. Students engage in high levels of math, reading, writing, technology, critical thinking and problem solving skills. NAEP study documents that students who use Stock Market Game have higher reading and math test scores. Lunch and curriculum provided at no charge.

Training for each teacher includes the Virtual Economics 4.5 flash drive, which is a comprehensive curriculum for K-12 with the most important concepts in economics and personal finance. Teachers can find the right lessons to teach these concepts at each grade level. The database contains over 1,400 lesson plans by grade level, concept, national standards or state standards. The glossary also contains over 500 economic terms and definitions.
