"Never believe that a few caring people can't change the world. For, indeed, that's all whoever have."

This quote by Margaret Meade is at the entrance to my classroom door and it epitomizes how I have approached teaching my AP Government and AP Economics classes for the last 31 years. I want my students to strengthen their political efficacy and play important roles in our participatory democracy.

In my free time, I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family. The best times are when I get to combine all three at a National Park!
