Have you heard there is a new movie out about Barbie? In this webinar we will take a look at two phenomena: the iconic doll and what she can teach us about the economy and the economic influence of the film industry, from box office revenues to the behind-the-scenes occupations that bring the movies to life. This interactive webinar will include lessons on how to use Barbie to teach about the labor force, how the movies can be used to teach about inflation, and information about the contributions that the film industry makes to the economy both nationally and in Alabama. Don’t forget to bring your popcorn!
