In-person Workshop
$100 sub reimbursement provided per Alabama teacher

Learn about the secrets that are hiding in your money. Think like an economist and learn why we use money. Explore the functions and characteristics of money through the ages. Put on your lab coat to explore the security features of US currency with engaging STEM-aligned lessons. Trace the history of money from ancient to modern times and explore how money functions in today's world.
 
Workshop participants will receive Federal Reserve materials for their classrooms, as well as lunch at the workshop. The Alabama Council on Economic Education will provide substitute reimbursement up to $100 and a CEU certificate.
