What are the divisions and who is eligible?
David Ricardo:  Teams of students enrolled in one semester general economics courses
Adam Smith:  Teams of students enrolled in AP Micro, AP Macro, IB, Honors or other advanced courses in economics
Milton Freidman: Teams of students enrolled in grades 6-8

Online registration begins January 3, 2019. Online testing window—February 4 to March 19
Each student on a four-person team individually completes a 30 question online test.
No limit on number of teams per school. No charge. Test results are confidential.

Alabama Economics Challenge Championship-- April 3, 2019
University of Alabama in Birmingham
Top online teams notified by March 20.  Team travel stipends available.

National Semi-Finals--April 17, 2019
Proctored exam administered at the state champions’ schools
Four winning teams from David Ricardo and Adam Smith divisions advance to national competition

National Finals--May 18-20, 2019  New York, New York
